  1. Data are presented as mean ± S.D. and 95% CI. NYHA classification of Normal participants was counted as “0”. There was no difference in NYHA classification between the two groups. The convex group had more males and significantly more severe cases according to the GOLD classification. No significant differences in other clinical characteristics were observed between the two groups
