The second area of interest (proximal tendon) started 0.52 cm distal to mark 1, and the third (mid tendon) 1.54 cm further distally. The fourth area of interest (distal tendon) was set at 75% of tendon length. b The length of the tendon is depicted by the horizontal white bar. In this case, 15 contours were drawn as shown. In all subjects a minimum of 10 of such contours were created.
